The Reference Report gives you an interactive table of contents for your document, breaking down every section, clause, schedule and annex into clickable rows. Instead of scrolling through a long agreement to find what you need, you can navigate the whole document from a single panel.
Accessing any clause or section
Click on any clause in the Reference Report to view the full referenced text in the side panel. This lets you review provisions without scrolling through your entire document.
The Reference Report displays your document's complete structure, making it easy to move between sections, schedules and annexes without losing your place in the main document.
Searching for specific references
Use the search function to quickly locate any clause or schedule in your agreement.
For example, if a client asks you to review Schedule 7, simply search for "Schedule 7" in the Reference Report. The entire schedule will load in your side panel, giving you immediate access to the content you need for the discussion.
You can also use the Go To arrow to navigate straight to the reference within the document itself.
This is particularly helpful in long agreements, where manually scrolling to find a specific section would otherwise be time-consuming.
Exporting references with definitions
You can select one or more references from the Reference Report and click Export to generate a new Word document.
The exported document includes:
The full text of your selected clauses or schedules.
All related definitions.
The original numbering, retained from the source document.
This is ideal for creating provision extracts to send to clients, sharing specific sections with colleagues, or building reference materials for complex transactions.
