If you've come across an issue while using Definely, the quickest way to help our Support team investigate is to send us a bug report.

Step 1: Scan your document with Definely

Open the document in Microsoft Word and run a Definely scan, either by clicking Open Definely in the Home ribbon, or by clicking Scan Document in the Definely ribbon.

Step 2: Open the Help menu

In the Definely panel, click the Help dropdown.

Step 3: Select Bug Report

From the Help menu, click Bug Report.

Step 4: Save the file to your desktop

When prompted, save the Bug Report file to your desktop, or somewhere else easy to find on your machine.

Step 5 (optional): Include the document you're working on

If the issue relates to a specific document, you can include it in the bug report. There's also an option to anonymise the document before it's sent, which is useful when the file contains client or confidential information.

Step 6: Generate and send

Click Generate and send the resulting zip file to [email protected].

Our team will investigate the issue and get back to you as soon as possible.
