The Spelling category in Definely Proof lets you quickly identify spelling issues across your document. It runs automated checks to highlight spelling mistakes that might otherwise be missed on a manual read, particularly easy to overlook in long agreements and across complex defined-term-heavy drafting.
Where to find Spelling
Open the Proof tab in the Definely panel and select the Spelling category. All spelling issues are presented in a clear, structured list so you can work through them at a glance.
Reviewing and actioning spelling issues
For each issue in the list you can:
Update to the correct spelling: apply Definely's suggested correction to the document.
Add a new word to your dictionary: useful for client names, defined terms or specialist vocabulary that you want Definely to recognise as correctly spelled in future.
That's it, it's as straightforward as that.
