Definely Vault lets you compare clauses in the document you're working on against the gold standard clauses stored in your firm's Document Management System (DMS). This makes it quick and easy to spot deviations from your firm's preferred drafting, catch unintended changes, or benchmark a counterparty's mark-up against your own position.
How to compare a clause
In your document, highlight the clause you want to compare.
In your Definely side panel you can either:
click Compare against a single clause, or
click Compare All to compare the clause in your document against all clauses Definely has surfaced in the side panel.
Definely will display the differences as marked-up (redlined) text, so you can see exactly where your version diverges from the precedent.
