Definely Enhance is your legal assistant for speeding up drafting and review. Powered by the latest agentic AI, Enhance lets you query contracts and take actions directly in your document, so you spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on the work that matters.
Enhance lives within the same side panel as the rest of Definely, so you can move seamlessly between Enhance, Vault, Draft/Read and Proof, all from one place, without switching windows.
The Virtual Assistant
The Virtual Assistant lets you run analysis on the document you're working in. Type a question and get an answer back, no need to leave Word.
You can also include additional sources for broader, cross-document analysis:
Text snippets from within the document you're working on
Clauses and definitions from your precedents in Vault
Other open contracts
Because Enhance is grounded in your own documents and precedents, the answers you get are tailored to your firm's drafting, not generic AI output.
Summarising clauses
Enhance also includes a built-in summarisation tool, so you can quickly get to grips with long or unfamiliar drafts.
Simply select the clauses you want to summarise and Enhance will return a clear, concise summary, useful for:
Getting up to speed on a contract you've just been handed
Briefing a colleague or client on what a clause actually says
Comparing the substance of two clauses without parsing every word
Specialised agents for complex legal tasks
To tap into the real power of Enhance, you can combine multiple specialised agents to complete complex legal tasks. Simply prompt the Virtual Assistant and it will orchestrate the right agents for the job.
For example, you can ask Enhance to:
Identify missing clauses that would typically be expected in a specific agreement type, based on firm precedents in Vault or linked contracts.
Find the appropriate placement for new clauses based on firm precedents and document structure, and insert the clause with the right formatting.
Check new clauses for undefined terms that would be introduced, and insert those definitions in alphabetical order in the right place in your document.
Getting started
To get started with Definely Enhance:
Open your document in Microsoft Word.
Run a scan from the Definely ribbon so Enhance understands the structure and contents of your document.
Open the Enhance tab in the Definely side panel.
Type a prompt into the Virtual Assistant — for example, "What clauses are missing from this agreement?" or "Insert a confidentiality clause in the right place."
